Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment

As a team member of the Engility Corporation Team, the Hammers Company is proud to announce the award of the Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) Contract to Engility Corporation. Hammers has been a participant in the Team’s proposal efforts for this contract since March of 2017. An excerpt of the official press release is as follows:

Engility Corporation has been awarded a $655 million firm-fixed price, cost-reimbursement contract for services supporting the Space and Missile Systems Center Advanced Systems and Development Directorate, Ground Systems and Space Operations Division at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. This contract provides engineering, development, integration, and sustainment (EDIS) services supporting the current Ground System Enterprise throughout its evolution, including the transition to and buildout of Enterprise Ground Services. Work will be performed at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico; and Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by January 31, 2026.

To accomplish the responsibilities for a number of disciplines in which Hammers is involved, including Systems Engineering, Development, Sustainment, and Transition, we are seeking immediate candidates for the Transition Phase in the areas of Systems Engineering, Network Administration, Quality Analysis, and Hardware Engineering.
