The Hammers Company provided pre-launch readiness testing for 20
Shuttle launches, provided mission console support during the manned
flight mission and has supported the manned presence on the
International Space Station for the past five years.
Ninety-Six Expendable Launch Vehicles (ELV) were supported during this
period each carrying numerous Science payloads. The ELV team is
responsible for the support of the Atlas, Delta, and Sea Launch
vehicles. These missions utilize the Space and Ground Network for
Telemetry data. The ELV personnel supported both of the MARs
Exploration launches.
The Hammers Company test personnel provided support to 38 Science
Missions during the past five years. These missions included Hubble
Space Telescope Servicing missions, EOS and numerous NOAA missions.
These support included the testing of the payload data delivery
systems to the Science Mission data capture control center. Test
personnel are responsible for the training the mission console
operators to utilize the Space Network and Ground Network systems in
support of their respective missions.
